After acquiring the Chestnut in the summer of 2006, our customers brought it to John's Little Boat Shop in September. Work began shortly after arrival. What was initially thought to be a cosmetic job (sanding, staining, varnishing) turned out to be more involved once John discovered some rotting ribs. Thus, disassembling, and rib making began, resulting in a beautiful restoration!
