The Hendren's first wooden boat was this Chris-Craft. After 4 years of (off & on) restoration, and with a young family requiring frequent attention, the boat was sold - with the intention that "someday soon" we'd go looking for another boat. John had completed all of the woodwork, including some plank and rib replacement, a new transom and deck, as well as a mahogany insert along the top of the hull. We noted when stripping the transom, a board underneath had a scripted name, “Meanderer”. We've lost track of its whereabouts over the years. The last we knew, the motor had been restored, and it was in the stages of reassembling the interior.
