"One Boat at a Time"
1937, 22 ft. Chris-Craft
BOAT HISTORY
This beautiful Chris-Craft runabout spent many summers at the family’s island cottage in the St. Lawrence. Originally, she had even served as a Chris-Craft demonstration boat for the Thousand Islands region.
Like many older boats with traditional bottoms, she eventually became slower to swell and seal each spring. Looking for a lasting solution, the owners discovered us online and reached out to begin a full restoration. The work included replacing about two-thirds of the bottom frames, installing a new epoxy bottom, laying new flooring, and renewing her varnish.
When the project was complete, she stood out as a true gem—and it was a rare treat to have three Chris-Crafts in the shop at the same time (see last photo).
